I am using the Chef-client-updater cookbook to update my Chef-client on endpoints. However looks like the Chef-client-updater is only updating versions of Chef-client greater that 14.1.x. However it still doesnt update clients at 14.0.x. What is the best way to update those endpoints with older clients? Other than manually updating them?
Yum? apt? Or any of the other package management tools related to them? You've not defined your operating system or working chef environments, so it can be difficult to guess what your limitations or available tools are.
