Chef client v14 not available via apt

Using the apt source as described in https://docs.chef.io/packages.html I am only able to install chef up to version 13.8.5-1.

Despite versions 14+ are already available and the deb files published in e.g. https://packages.chef.io/repos/apt/stable/ubuntu/14.04/, they are not in the Packages file and thus they cannot be fetched by apt update.

Is there a reason to hold back this version from the apt channel?
Can this be updated?

Just ran into the same problem. It is even funnier in the “current” channel: it does include 14.x packages, but no 13.x above 13.8.11…
