Chef Compliance 1.1.2 Released

Chef Compliance 1.1.2 is now available from the Chef downloads site. This is a minor release update which is recommended for all users of Chef Compliance. Here are the enhancements and bug fixes included in this release:

Enhancements:

  • Additional CIS translated content included: RHEL 6 and 7.
  • New ‘/login’ API endpoint to get access tokens using a Chef Compliance username and password
  • Uses InSpec 0.19.1. Includes numerous improvements and fixes. The ‘cmp’ matcher can now be used for strings.

Fixed bugs:

  • Bug fixes in the previously released Ubuntu and CentOS SCAP-to-Inspec translated profiles
  • ‘chef-compliance-ctl reconfigure’ fails on first run, but everything running correctly
  • oidc client callback isn’t updated when the FQDN changes
  • Move nginx temp files out of /opt/chef-compliance to prevent permission errors on restart
