We are delighted to announce the availability of version 23.3.1030 of Chef Workstation.

Updated Components

Chef Habitat CLI

Updated the Chef Habitat CLI from 1.6.521 to 1.6.652. See the Chef Habitat release notes for a full list of improvements and features.

Chef Workstation App

We removed the experimental dashboard that allows you to manage cookbooks on Windows and macOS from the Chef Workstation App.

Bug Fixes & Updates

  • Updated chef-vault to support the client_key_contents attribute. Thanks Tyrael!
  • Updated kitchen-vagrant to correctly prune older bento boxes in use.
  • Updated kitchen-vagrant to append -arm64 to the bento box name automatically when run on this architecture.
