Ohai, InSpec users!

InSpec v1.15.0 has been released and is available on RubyGems and downloads.chef.io.

Some notable updates:

  • Bug fix: fixed InSpec runs with multiple paths when those paths contained only standalone tests rather than InSpec profiles
  • Bug fix: fixed output coloring on Windows
  • New crontab resource
  • Additional packages resource support for Red Hat OS flavors
  • New inspec habitat profile create command which will create a Habitat package for an InSpec profile - more news on this coming soon!
