Below are the meeting notes for this week's Community Meeting, a text-based meeting held weekly in #community-meetings on our community slack, which you can join: https://community-slack.chef.io/

DevRel/Community

benny Vasquez shared

Nothing much from DevRel this week, but be on the lookout next month for some new not-entirely-chef-centric courses on Learn Chef. Instead, they’ll focus on related technology. “Getting Started with Git” and “An Introduction to Ruby” are the first two, with additional courses on advanced Ruby, Bash, and Powershell planned for early 2021.

Speaking of Workstation, we also shipped a new version of Chef Workstation, which included a ton of work from both internal and external community members. https://discourse.chef.io/t/chef-workstation-20-12-205-released/18019

What will likely be the last of ChefDK has also shipped . ChefDK reaches End of Life in just 14 days. If you haven’t already, migrate to Chef Workstation ASAP. If you haven’t yet, I definitely recommend taking a look at this blog post from June.
