[Release Announcement] Chef Server 12.3.0 Released

Ohai Chefs!

We’re very pleased to announce that Chef Server 12.3.0 is now available for download[1].

Highlights of this release include:

  • Nodes API change to include Policy support.
  • ElasticSearch and external Solr support.
  • Object updates can now be posted directly to the search index.
  • Analytics queue monitoring.
  • Security updates to solr4 oc-id, and postgresql.
  • Many closed issues.
