I noticed today that the database cookbook is formally deprecated.
Are there plans to replace it? I see an ancient topic on the cookbook here, but that’s it.
There are no concrete plans at this time. Some people are trying to get similar functionality split out for each of the databases into their own cookbooks but if you need something ASAP I would write it yourself.
