We are delighted to announce the availability of version 20181029174254 of Chef Automate 2.

New Features

  • Gone, Node: Delete missing nodes directly from the Client Runs page. Admin users will see a new set of controls for deleting missing nodes.

Improvements

  • Outta Here: Remove scan jobs through the Automate user interface.

Bug Fixes

  • Same-Same: The configuration style for setting the log level matches the configuration style of other services. You can also set the log level to debug or warning.

How to Upgrade

By default Chef Automate 2 will automatically upgrade to this new version. If you have disabled automatic upgrades you can manually initiate an upgrade by running:

chef-automate upgrade run
