We recently had an issue on https://discourse.chef.io where users whose preference had them receiving an email with every post were switched over to receiving only a daily digest of messages. This was a bug with Discourse that has now been resolved so, hopefully, you are now receiving email messages at the frequency you desire.
However, this is a good time to review and update as necessary your email subscriptions for discourse. Do so by navigating to the preferences page for your account on Discourse. The URL for your preferences page will be https://discourse.chef.io/users/YOUR_USERNAME/preferences (e.g., https://discourse.chef.io/users/nathenharvey/preferences). Of course, you can’t change my preferences only see my activity at that url if you’re not me
