We are delighted to announce the availability of version 23.5.1040 of Chef Workstation.

Platform support

  • Added support for RHEL 9. (#3108)

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where chef env would not correctly handle the -chef-license flag. (#3097)
  • Updated the chef-apply gem from 0.9.4 to 0.9.6 to fix an issue loading YAML files. (#3113)
  • Updated the chef-cli gem from 5.6.8 to 5.6.11 to address warnings that would appear when chef shell-init is run. (#3109)

Test-Kitchen

  • Updated the kitchen-azurerm gem from 1.10.5 to 1.12 to fix an issue when running kitchen create after using Azure CLI to log in using the Kitchen AzureRM Driver. (#3100)
