Chef workstation issues bootstrapping

Having issues bootstrapping Windows 2022 R2 servers with chef workstation with following versions.

  • 23.4.1032
  • 23.3.1030

However 22.12.1024 works correctly.

We have tried to install these versions on both an old 2012 R2 workstation as well as a 2022 workstation server.

Has anyone else seen issues like this?

After the installation of the Chef Client, when it runs the policy it can't find chef location.
