InSpec v2.1.0 Released!

I’m pleased to release InSpec version 2.1.0.

Hello everyone! With this change the cli option --backend-cache will be defaulted to enabled. This will unify its use across the Audit cookbook, kitchen-inspec, and InSpec standalone. Along with this change includes a Windows PowerShell fix when using a 32bit ruby and accessing the registry on a 64bit system. Please see all changes below.

v2.1.0 (2018-03-15)

  • quote password when generating mysql command string #2685 (tolland)
  • Pin to new Train version and update InSpec defaults #2827 (jquick)
    • Use 64bit powershell if using ruby32 on a 64bit os #265
