Ohai Chefs,
Version 0.5.14 of knife-ec2 has just been pushed to GitHub. The
changelog below lists the fixed bugs and new features.
Thanks to all the community members who contributed to this release:
- Brian Bianco
- John Dyer
- Raf Geens
- Fletcher Nichol
Currently, the plan is to have another release after the release of
Chef 10.14.0 in order to take advantage of the new “hinting” system in
Ohai.
Bug
[KNIFE_EC2-45] - -G (security groups) do not work when running under VPC
[KNIFE_EC2-71] - region, distro, image, flavor, and
availability_zone flags cannot be overridden as command line arguments
if set in knife.rb
Improvement
[KNIFE_EC2-57] - Make the returned server object from bootstrap an
attr_reader
New Feature
[KNIFE_EC2-58] - Knife ec2 should accept new json-attributes bootstrap param
[KNIFE_EC2-64] - knife ec2 needs a 'flavor list' subcommand
Cheers,
Steven
