Missing Cookbooks, but it's there

Hi,

I’m bootstrapping a node inside a VPC on Amanzon, but I get this error when I run chef-client:

Missing Cookbooks:

The following cookbooks are required by the client but don’t exist on the server:

  • configuration

Bit it’s there:

$ knife cookbook list | grep configuration
configuration 0.0.1

Could this be some cache issue? How do I investigate?

Thanks,
Cassiano Leal

is this specific to one cookbook? can you share the debug log?

So far it’s been this one cookbook, but I’m really just loading a handful. This is a new chef server, and this is the first node I’m bootstrapping on it.

Here’s the debug: http://pastebin.com/75LJiGTa

Nevermind, I found the problem...

I had the database cookbook pinned down to a version that was not on the chef server.

Thanks for looking, though!
