Chef Server 12.8.0 Released

Ohai Chefs!

Today we’ve released Chef Server 12.8.0. This release includes support for sending information to an external service that implements Chef RFC 77. This feature is disabled by default, but can be activated by setting:

data_collector['root_url']

to the URL of your data collection service in /etc/opscode/chef-server.rb.
