We have a small release of Cookstyle this week with plenty of improvements for Ruby cops and autocorrection plus a small improvement to one of our Chef cops.
What's New
RuboCop 1.7.0
The RuboCop engine that powers Cookstyle has been updated to 1.7.0. This new release improves autocorrection and resolves several detection errors.
Other Improvements
- The
Chef/RedundantCode/UnnecessaryNamePropertyhas been improved to detect additional cases where an unnecessary name property is defined in a resource.
