Foodcritic release velocity is ramping up with new cops and fewer false positives. Foodcritic 10.2 is up on Rubygems, and as usual this release will be included in the next ChefDK.

What’s new

  • New FC066 - Ensure chef_version is set in the metadata
  • New FC067 - Ensure at least one platform is supported in the metadata
  • New FC068 - Ensure license is set in the metadata
  • FC007 no longer alerts if you use the short form of an include_recipe -> include_recipe ‘::something’
  • FC016 no longer alerts in custom resources
  • A gem warning that occurred if you used --search-gems has been fixed (thanks Joe!)
