  • Upgraded embedded Chef Infra Server to 15.4.0
  • Added support in AWS deployment to add additional nodes in HA cluster
  • Fixed a bug to ensure that node recipe can be accessed while using policy files
  • Fixed a bug to get correct certificates of RDS for AWS deployment of Automate HA
  • Improved error messages for backup failures in different situations
  • Fixed a bug to ensure that database EBS volume is not mandatorily asked for managed services deployment of Automate HA
  • Root CA is now optional in config during deployment of Automate HA

From @Vikram Karve and the Workstation/Community Tools team:

  • We released Chef Workstation 22.12.1024, this includes few bug fixes and a preview GUI feature
  • Working on a followup release to include Chef Infra Client v18 and InSpec v5
  • Exploring ways to revamp kitchen-azure plugin so we don't need to continue relying on EOL Azure Ruby SDK

  • Remove deprecation warning when depend of EOL cookbook

A note to that cookbook, it looks like we may need to do an additional release to properly fix what that release above was about

Hello from the Cinc Project!

  • Cinc Client 18.1.0 has been released
  • Cinc Server 15.4.0 has been released
  • Cinc Workstation 22.12.1024 status
  • Build issue with Windows it preventing us from getting getting this out the door
  • I may go ahead and release for all other platforms and work on getting this fixed in the meantime
