Automate version 4.0.91 Released! Improvements include support for substring search consistently in Compliance and Infra tabs.

Chef Habitat 1.6.521 Released! This release contains some pretty important fixes that are outlined in the release notes. The team strongly recommends that customers skip updating to 1.6.513 in favor of this release.

Chef Infra Server 14.16.19 Released! This release fixed an issue where chef-server-ctl cleanup-bifrost was not cleaning up some unused data in the bifrost database

Hello community
In this week, the team’s contribution included:
- To have better security, password of external OpenSearch database will now be obfuscated
- Final testing of supporting large compliance report in Automate is going on
- A community PR to create temporary test directory has been accepted
- Automate will start supporting managed services like AWS RDS, AWS OpenSearch soon
- Component upgrades: OpenJDK upgrade to 11.0.15+10 (CVE-2022-21434, CVE-2022-21443, CVE-2022-21449, CVE-2022-21476, CVE-2022-21496)
- Fixed a bug to update the port number for license service in Automate
- Created an internal reference calculator to estimate the storage size of database
- Automate security headers are being updated for session tokens
- Automate HA GA readiness: reading certificates from Chef vault, config improvements for AWS backup and restore and documentation updates
- Released an article on deployment options in Automate HA

- Packages team is working to merge refresh commits and also addressing a needed fix for SqlLite
This week's updates:
- Investigating an on-prem data migration bug when updating on-prem services
- Investigating supervisor strategies for ARM and we are experimenting with a concept of "native packages" See
- Released 1.6.521 which reverts some hab sup run arg validation added in 1.6.500 and addresses deadlocking in the supervisor. See
